Hi, I’m Maya, a local guide who has been living in Sofia for more than 20 years.

I created Sofia Bike Tours to share the city I know and love with travelers from around the world — not just through its famous landmarks, but through its history, parks, neighborhoods, stories, and everyday life.

For me, cycling in Sofia is one of the most enjoyable ways to discover the city. You can cover more ground than on a walking tour, enjoy Sofia’s green spaces, and still experience the city at street level.

Sofia is a city with thousands of years of history.

Roman ruins, Orthodox churches, historic buildings, monuments, modern neighborhoods, lively streets, and large green parks are all part of the same city.
